Cedar Lodge
New for 2024, Cedar Lodge is the second in our exclusive collection of Eco holiday lodges and is 100% handcrafted using a local carpenter and materials all sourced from Somerset. Cedar Lodge totals over 280 sq ft of internal living space and an additional 100 sq ft of covered decking outside
It is a luxurious and spacious cabin powered by solar energy with all of the facilities and conveniences you would expect at home. The added advantage here is you get to sit back and relax overlooking the Blackdown Hills and the sound of the running waters of the Dowlish Brook.
Cedar Lodge also has the added advantage of being Pet Friendly! This means you can bring your furry friend along with you for your holiday. We are situated on the Chard to Ilminster footpath offering miles of walks and we are based in our own private field totalling around 6 acres making it an ideal spot for our four legged friends!
Guests staying in Cedar Lodge also have access to their own private outdoor bathtub, the 'Ofuro' a traditional Japanese log fired soaking bath.

We Recommend you bring;
- Slippers, nothing makes a stay more cosy than your own slippers!
- Sleeping bed/crate for your pet
- Towels for cleaning/drying pets. We do have a lake and river on site!
- A good pair of wellies or walking boots (especially in the winter months)
